Description

The BBA in Operations Management (OM) program focuses on the effective management of resources and business processes that produce and deliver goods and services for all kinds of organizations. Our program emphasizes real applications of management concepts and quantitative analysis to the design, planning, control, and improvement of business operations. 

At the beginning of their studies, students acquire fundamental knowledge across business disciplines to prepare to learn advanced management concepts and the techniques necessary to manage and make sound decisions on complex business processes and supply chain operations. A Business Analytics option is available for those who wish to study this area in depth. 

By the end of their studies, students are proficient in core OM concepts such as operational excellence as a competitive business strategy, the alignment of people, process and technology for achieving operational excellence, and the use of practical business analytics for business modeling and decision making.

In 2019, graduates took up coveted positions in the financial sector, with employers such as Bloomberg L.P., DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, HSBC, KPMG and PwC, and in the logistics sector, employed by companies such as Flexport and SF DHL Supply Chain Limited.
