The university is dedicated to giving students a global experience. Currently, there are more than 240 exchange programs, many of our undergraduate students are on overseas exchange for at least 1 term or more. Our exchange partners include Cambridge, Cornell, McGill, NTU, NUS, Northwestern, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UNSW and UPenn.
HKUST is ranked 1st in Graduate Employability in Greater China and 10th in the World. 97.5% of graduates were engaged in employment or further studies or returned to their homeland. 77.2% of our graduates were full-time employed or self-employed.
Hong Kong has long been a place where the western culture and the eastern culture integrate, which made it a unique city in the Asia-Pacific region. Since the establishment of HKUST, the university has been dedicated to become a research-based university. All of our faculties are PhD qualified and come from over 35 countries around the globe. The graduate prospect of the university is promising, and many of them kick off their careers in notable MNCs.
